Roasted Ash Bowl with Blue Grain

$85.00
sold out

Available exclusively at 6311Arts Gallery.

Hand-turned from roasted ash, this 7-inch bowl draws its depth from fire and grain. The roasting process brings the wood to a rich, warm brown, while deep blue works its way into the open grain in striking bands of indigo that ripple across the surface and answer the darkness of the wood with quiet contrast. A gently flared lip slopes inward, guiding the eye down into the form and lending the piece a sense of invitation. Finished with a food-safe hard oil wax, the surface reveals both the smoky warmth of the roasted wood and the vivid pulse of its lines.

7 inches x 3-3/4 inches.

A study in fire and flow — where roasted warmth and cool blue grain meet in striking harmony.

If you are interested in commissioning a custom piece or would like to discuss creating something similar to a work that has already found a home, I welcome the conversation. Please reach out with your ideas, inspirations, or questions and we can begin a dialogue about what you envision.
